purchased from techtronics one year ago. It works fairly good but has a few noticable problems:

-almost always has trouble ejecting cds (need to push the force eject button on the writer). After pushing it once the problem disapears until you restart windows or don't use the burner for a while.

-occasiconally locks up when finalizing a cd. When I burnt more than 4 cds in a row the drive often locked. I don't remember it locking on the first cd I tried.

Basically never burnt on 52x and I don't think it was just the cds I tried in it. I used it at 32x and it worked fine (except the error I mentioned above)

I think $20 is resonable but I am willing to take any offers. I just bought a liteon DVD burner.
