It feels like I've been travelling for a long time but yet time seems to fly by. I'm not sure if I'm ready to end the trip and start thinking about working to pay for it. I haven't taken many pictures. At times its because I'm to lazy or don't have enough time to pull out my camera, and other times a camera would ruin the setting.
Sometimes its frustrating to be with tourists. One pet peve I've had on this trip is tourists that come in groups, only talk with themselves (often in a language no one can understand) and take lots of pictures. Its the same thing as these all inclusive tourist packages. You get as much exposure to the local culture as reading a national geographic would (sometimes less). I've found the best way to absorb the settings is to fit in with the locals as much as possible (pulling out a camera, and clinging to people that remind you of home is not the way to do it).
Anyways, I'd love to take pictures at the reception.
